Manufacture St Etienne double-barrel pinfire shotgun Late 19th century shotgun for 16-gauge pinfire cartridges, double-barreled in table, barrel length approx. 74 cm, muzzle diameter 17/18 mm. Percussion rear plates and swan-neck hammers engraved with scrolls. Signed Manufacture Française d'Armes de St Etienne on the barrels, pre-1901 markings. Lefaucheux-type locking with two keys, no play on locking. Scroll trigger guard with interlacing decoration, steel butt plate. English stock, short barrel. Overall length approx. 115.8 cm. Functional mechanism. Good condition, slight corrosion, wear and patina. Category D
