Uncommon shotgun with offset stock for one-eyed right-hander - Lot 6
Uncommon shotgun with offset stock for one-eyed right-handers or with left-hand sight, circa 1870-1880. For 16-gauge pinfire cartridges, double-barreled table top, barrel length approx. 70.7 cm, muzzle diameter 16.2 mm. Percussion rear plates and swan-neck hammers. No visible signature. Two-key lock with very large play. Scroll trigger guard, missing screw at rear of trigger guard, steel butt plate. Offset stock. Overall length approx. 115 cm. Functional mechanism, but locking mechanism needs to be completely overhauled. Average condition, wear and patina.
