Model 1816 flintlock regulation cavalry pistol, lock marked "Manufacture Royale de Tulle" and a control stamp. The breech tail is marked "Mle 1816", and the left barrel end is marked L.L. and dated "1822". Near the bassoon, MR hallmark. All brass fittings with crowned "N" hallmark, beautiful intact walnut frame, with fine markings and hallmarks including the date 1822. Beautiful, functional mechanism.
