Lovely pair of flintlock pistols from the Empire and Restoration periods, with a slightly blunderbussed barrel at the muzzle, hairline rifling, approx. 17.6 cm long, with barley grain sights. Gooseneck lock and hammer, both flat-bodied, unsigned, hammer restored. Iron fittings with flat cap. Dark walnut frame with checkered stock. Total length approx. 32.2 cm. Wooden ramrod with bone handle. Functional mechanism. Nice workmanship, wear and patina.
