Composite weapon, Gendarmerie-type short flintlock pistol. Flat-bodied lock and hammer type 1770, lock markings illegible, iron trigger guard. Fittings: brass cap, trigger guard, lock plate and mouthpiece, Gendarmerie des Ports et Arsenaux type. Round barrel. Mechanism functional but in need of revision. Extensive wear and cleaning.
