1822 T Bis percussion cavalry pistol, 1860 modification. Lock marked Manufacture Royale de St Etienne with starred T hallmark, formerly flintlock and converted to percussion. Barrel marked C de 17,6 A on the upper left side, indicating a 17,7 mm barrel bore. Serial no. 979 on the left barrel and stock. Traces of corrosion and wear. Breechblock marked Mle 1822 T Bis. Brass fittings. Cap with grenadière ring. Walnut stock marked ST ETIENNE under the serial number. Rod present. Wear and patina, functional mechanism.
