Model 1777 1st type cavalry flintlock pistol with belt hook. Round, muzzle-loading barrel in 18mm caliber, lock signed Manufacture de Saint Etienne and stamped L under crown, cast brass frame, trigger guard, cap and pan, battery with light frame, complete, functional action with all original parts. Barrel length 187 mm, no visible markings. Blond walnut frame in perfect condition, well stamped and dated August 1780. Wear, patina. Functional mechanism, hard trigger.
