French percussion pistol circa 1825-1840, fluted barrel, approx. 10.6 cm long, smooth bore, muzzle caliber approx. 15.2 mm. Percussion lock signed Aubron Ainé et Fils Arquebusier à Nantes, engraving remains. Cocktail plate with rocaille decoration, iron fittings, rounded oval cap. Walnut frame with squared stock. Functional mechanism. Total length approx. 24.5 cm. Wooden ramrod with bone handle. Corrosion, wear and patina. -
