Le Protector' palm pistol by Turbiaux, 1880 - 1889. Short, octagonal, round barrel, caliber 5.5 mm at the muzzle. Circular frame with radial cylinder inside, marked "LE PROTECTOR SYSTEME E. TURBIAUX" on one side, "B.te S.G.D.G. EN FRANCE ET A L'ETRANGER - PARIS" on the other, with dark brown, disk-shaped hard rubber grip scales. External security lock. Marks and numbering inside. Surface oxidation, wear and patina. Functional mechanism. Length 10.5 cm.
