Gendarme bicorne hat, model 1895, in felt, slightly higher back, 16 cm high. Cracks and tears, especially on the cap. Trimmed with silver lizard braid, tricolor cockade, flat gimp and Gendarmerie Nationale button. Leather sweatband. Very fair condition. Gendarmerie giberne model 1875: Leather case with internal compartments, leather lug decorated with a stamped and cut-out brass flaming grenade. Brass suspension rings. White buffalo gibernacle band with brass fittings, lion's head, chains and crest adorned with a flaming grenade. Fairly poor condition.
