Chirvan carpet (warp, weft and wool pile), East Caucasus, circa 1930-1960. The rug features a central polychrome medallion, linked by two small elongated medallions, extended by two pendants on a red background with large flower motifs on a navy blue counter-ground repeating the same design. A wide ivory border with double polychrome triangles is framed by two counter-borders. 187 x 114 cm (Wear, old restorations, fraying and edges damaged).
