Keschan carpet (cotton warp and weft, wool pile), central Persia, circa 1940-1970 The rug features a navy blue polylobed central medallion, extended by two pendants on a raspberry red background with stylized floral motifs. The whole composition is embellished with four navy blue spandrels. A navy blue border with polychrome flower garland is framed by two blue and ivory counter-borders.
