1822 T Bis percussion cavalry pistol, 1860 modification. Loc - Lot 31
1822 T Bis percussion cavalry pistol, 1860 modification. Lock marked Manufacture Impale de Tulle with spangled T hallmark, formerly flintlock and converted to percussion. Barrel marked C de 17,6 A on the upper left side, indicating a 17,7 mm bore from an earlier barrel. Serial no. 2252 on left barrel and stock. Traces of corrosion and wear. Breechblock marked Mle 1822 T Bis. Brass fittings. Cap with grenadière ring. Walnut stock marked TULLE under the serial number with a round stamp underneath. Rod present. Significant wear and patina, functional mechanism.
