A rare menu from President Emile LOUBET in Russia. Menu for the luncheon offered by the French President to the Emperor and Empress of Russia on the cruiser Montcalm on May 10/23, 1902. Illustrated cover by Giraldon printed in gray-green, featuring a semiset of RF monograms framed by rooster-head ornamentation, with Emile LOUBET's monogram and date in gilded relief in the cartouches. Inside, a watercolor by J.P.Laurens featuring two allegories uniting the coats of arms of the two countries, followed by the menu engraved on copper and printed in intaglio by Stern (Menu de la table d'honneur).
