We are honored to present an exceptional lot in this sale:
THE WORLD WAR (1914 - 1918)
Philippe Pétain's unpublished manuscript describing the Great War and the mechanics of battle, illustrated by 77 handwritten sketches.
The owner of the manuscript granted Mr. Jean-Jacques DUMUR a mandate to discover the author. Sixteen years of hard work later, the manuscript was finally authenticated by a ruling of the French Supreme Court (Cour de Cassation).
Nice Enchères was chosen to present it at auction!
Now it's time for this manuscript to find a new owner on December 12.
